Privacy draft

This page is draft product copy pending review by legal counsel before public launch. It describes current intended data handling practices and should not be treated as a finalized legal policy.

What GridScope stores

GridScope uses Supabase-backed authentication and stores account, organization, profile, interest, notification preference, saved-item, read-state, note, and feedback records needed to operate the product.

Product usage telemetry

During the pilot, GridScope records product usage events and in-app feedback so the team can understand whether the regulatory feed is useful. Event metadata is allowlisted by the backend and is not a raw free-form tracking blob.

Regulatory source data

GridScope ingests public regulatory documents and metadata from sources such as ERCOT, PUCT, NERC, FERC, and Texas RE. The ingestion system is built for public regulatory material, not scraping personal data.

Data sharing

GridScope does not sell user data to third parties. Data may be processed by the infrastructure providers used to run the product, including authentication, database, hosting, and observability services.

AI guardrail

Future AI-assisted features are intended to stay grounded to source material. GridScope does not use AI-generated text as legal advice, compliance determinations, or unsupported regulatory guidance.
